Multi-instrumentalist maestro Syd Del approached me with a rare opportunity to create a show poster (my original reason for getting into graphic design all those years ago!). Inspired to create a psychedelic mandala, I utilised imagery of the local flora of Salt Spring Island to link to the show location, composing an organic fractal of nature which served as the centrepiece to a visually compelling poster that captivated the attention of the local audience.
